TRC has completed performance testing of a new low noise prelube and oil pump design. By changing the way the ports feed the pump, noise was significantly reduced and life expectancy was improved. This new technology can now begin to be introduced into new product solutions for customer applications. One anticipated use will be in a new generation oil pump for engine prelube systems where noise is a concern.
